Fiber is considered the future of internet connections because of the speed and amount of data it can carry. By having it to your home, when you or the next owner would like to make the change the fiber is already there and installation takes a day or two. If you don’t have fiber to your home we will have to run the fiber to your home and install it. This normally takes 2-4 weeks, costs at least $150, and can’t happen in the winter.
We have fiber in the street but not to your home. Therefore, we will be boring a fiber from the street to your home.

If you or someone in the future may want fiber internet, now is the quickest and easiest time to be set up.
Boring is the process of digging horizontally underground. By doing this we don’t disturb much above ground, like digging a trench would.
We need permission by the end of June to get fiber run to your home. Otherwise, our standard timeline and installation fee will apply.
We will have crews in the area starting around mid June, for about a month.
